Our source hierarchy

   DentaQuest member pages, current benefit summaries, change notices, the provider directory, and the member portal control operational dental-plan information.

   Treating provider

   A licensed dental professional evaluates the patient, makes clinical recommendations, prepares documentation, and explains what the office can schedule.

   This guide

   We translate and organize those sources. We do not decide eligibility, authorize care, practice dentistry, or adjudicate claims.

How pages are dated and reviewed

• Each guide displays a substantive review date, not an automatic “today” stamp.
• Time-sensitive figures are checked against a current official notice or benefit summary.
• We name the benefit year when a limit resets on July 1 rather than the calendar year.
• We preserve distinctions among adults, standard Health First Colorado children, Cover All Coloradans, CHP+, and specialized waiver benefits.
• Official links appear on every guide so readers can check for newer rules.

What our wording intentionally does not promise

We do not guarantee eligibility, provider participation, new-patient availability, appointment timing, medical necessity, prior authorization, benefit payment, a particular cost, or a clinical outcome. Those determinations depend on facts and systems we do not control.

Words such as “covered” refer to a benefit category under published rules, not automatic payment for every person or procedure. We pair benefit statements with the relevant limits, verification steps, and primary source.

Corrections, local links, and independence

This portal links to MyStarDental.com because its purpose is to help Denver readers learn about local services and request care. Those links are clearly separated from official state and DentaQuest sources.

The portal is not a Health First Colorado, HCPF, or DentaQuest website, and those organizations do not endorse this independent guide. If a portal statement conflicts with an official source, the official source controls. Readers can send a suspected error through Star Dental's contact page for review.
