Broomfield's official Medical Programs page lists weekday phone help and in-person application or document drop-off at 100 Spader Way.

Use the Broomfield Benefits Team for the eligibility case
The City and County of Broomfield's official Medical Programs page lists Colorado PEAK for online applications, 100 Spader Way for in-person or drop-off service, and the Broomfield Benefits Team call center at 720-887-2290 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It also lists yourbenefits@broomfield.org. Before sending personal information, verify the live page and use the official submission channel requested in the case notice.
The benefits team can address application, renewal, requested-document, household-change, and case-processing questions. DentaQuest handles dental network and benefit questions. The dental office handles scheduling and clinical care. If the Broomfield case is active but the member cannot find a dentist, contact DentaQuest rather than filing a second application. If a dentist appears in the directory but says coverage is inactive, check the member's date-specific status with the official case and plan tools.
A small county still needs an exact-address search
Broomfield's city and county boundaries are the same, which simplifies eligibility office selection. Dental travel can still cross quickly into Boulder, Jefferson, Adams, or Denver County. Search DentaQuest near the member's Broomfield ZIP code, then widen toward Westminster, Louisville, Lafayette, north Denver, or another route the household can repeat for follow-up care. Those place names are orientation only and do not establish provider availability.
Call the exact office and confirm the individual dentist, service address, member age, reason for the visit, current scheduling, language help, and physical access. A practice with several locations may participate at one provider-location combination and not another. Ask how records, referrals, or authorization affect timing before arranging a cross-county trip.
- Use the office street address, not only a practice name or city label.
- Confirm whether the first visit is an examination only or whether treatment might occur that day.
- Ask whether the member's Dental Home needs to be changed or confirmed in the DentaQuest portal.
- For recurring treatment, choose a location the member can reach more than once.
Verify the dental benefit after the office evaluates the need
Health First Colorado covers dental services under program rules, but a category in a summary is not automatic approval. After an examination, ask the dentist to explain the diagnosis, reasonable options, urgency, and proposed procedure codes. Then ask the office to check frequency history, prior authorization, provider status, and any member-specific limit. The current adult limit operates on a July 1-to-June 30 benefit year, while children and Cover All Coloradans members have different rules.
If the office says a service is not covered, ask whether the reason is benefit exclusion, annual or frequency limit, missing authorization, network, eligibility, documentation, or another claim rule. Request written information before agreeing to pay. Broomfield County's medical-program page establishes no dental coverage for a procedure; DentaQuest's current documents and member-specific determination control.
Easyride is a local option with registration and medical boundaries
Broomfield Easyride provides door-to-door transportation for Broomfield residents age 60 or older and adults with disabilities. The official page says riders must register, routine requests should be made at least three business days ahead, and trips outside Broomfield are for medical appointments within program boundaries. It lists 303-464-5534 for registration and reservations and tells riders to call when unsure whether a destination is covered.
Easyride is not Medicaid NEMT and does not make emergency trips. Broomfield is also within MediDrive's current nine-county NEMT area. A qualifying Health First Colorado member without transportation to covered care can ask MediDrive at 855-489-4999, generally at least two business days before routine care. RTD FlexRide, fixed route, and Access-a-Ride may offer other choices, each with different fares, eligibility, and geography.
An optional Denver office for members who can make the trip
Star Dental accepts Health First Colorado for adults and children at 1490 S. Sheridan Blvd., Unit 102, Denver, CO 80232. It is not in Broomfield County, and this page makes no claim that it is close to a Broomfield residence. A member may include it in a wider Denver-metro search if the distance, appointment length, and transportation are practical.
Call 303-222-1414 to confirm the patient's age and need, current availability, exact provider, service location, accessibility or Spanish-language support, and visit timing. If using Easyride, ask Easyride—not the dental office—whether the destination is inside its medical boundary. If using NEMT, obtain MediDrive approval before the trip.
A Broomfield booking sequence that avoids duplicate work
- 1
Check the case
Confirm active status and renewal date through official tools; contact the Broomfield Benefits Team for unresolved county casework.

- 3
Choose the ride
Compare approved NEMT, registered Easyride, RTD, or a family-driver mileage option. Apply or register before the appointment when required.
- 4
Check the service
After diagnosis, ask about procedure-specific benefits, authorization, frequency, and adult benefit-year balance when applicable.
- 5
Save records
Keep county submissions, DentaQuest notices, treatment plan, trip details, and any bill so a later question can go to the correct organization.
